Wallhope Farm is a working dairy farm with more to offer than first meets the eye

Our story

Overlooking the River Severn, Wallhope Farm is a working dairy farm with more to offer than first meets the eye. Owner’s Paul & Sarah have a long history here and welcome you to this picture-perfect country farm. The spectacular views will take your breath away and you will spot some of the resident dairy cows enjoying this glorious countryside. Wallhope Farm produces its own fresh pasteurised milk with the help of over 200 dairy cows who live on-site.

Paul & Sarah are passionate about serving the community and keeping the business sustainable while supporting local businesses.

The main farmhouse at Wallhope Farm was built in 1891 in the Gothic Victorian style and it is a beautiful building. When we say the owner’s have a long history here, we mean it, Paul was born here! After living away, the pair were drawn back here and it’s easy to see why. This rural location provides a daily cinema show of changing views that visitors fall in love with.

A more sustainable future

We love our planet & are always sourcing sustainable local products and thinking ahead about ways we can help our planet. We always try to line dry our washing both for the farmhouse and our holiday accommodation and we endeavour to use our waste water for watering the gardens.

We aim to attract wildlife, and our plan is to plant and manage our trees every year and improve the farm to becoming carbon neutral.

We love the countryside and around the farm you will see bird feeders, bat boxes, bee hives and lots of flowers to encourage wildlife. We often see woodpeckers, swallows and swifts return year on year and we have lots and lots of butterflies and dragon flies!

The heat recovery from the condensers produce hot water and an ice bank helps to chill the milk more efficiently and quickly which mean green energy on the farm.

  • "Absolutely perfect! Wonderful location, so quiet and totally peaceful despite being located on a working farm. A real gem, just wish we can go back again soon."
